Summary
This study tests two sedative drugs, remimazolam and midazolam, in 120 adults aged 65 and older having orthopedic surgery with regional anesthesia. The goal is to see which drug provides better sedation and causes fewer memory or thinking problems shortly after surgery. Neither patients nor doctors know which drug is given, ensuring fair results.
