Summary
This study tested a smartphone app called ReLiver-N, designed to help people with liver cirrhosis take a more active role in their care. The app provides health education, self-management tools, and a system to alert nurses if a patient's condition changes. Researchers wanted to see if using the app for 90 days could improve patients' ability to manage their disease, their confidence, and their quality of life. The study involved 48 adults with mild to moderate liver cirrhosis.
