Summary
This study tests a device called RELAY that delivers both numbing medicine and mild electrical pulses to nerves after shoulder or foot surgery. The goal is to control pain for up to 28 days, longer than current options. About 50 adults having certain surgeries will be randomly assigned to get the real device or a sham version. The main focus is on pain levels and opioid use during the first week after surgery.
