NCT ID NCT07405996
First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at why general practitioners send patients to the emergency department because of abnormal lab test results. Researchers will track 5,000 adults who come to the ER for this reason, recording what type of abnormality they have and how severe it is. The goal is to understand how often this happens and what kinds of lab problems lead to an ER visit.
