NCT ID NCT04219800

First seen May 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether using mobile health tools—like activity trackers that buzz when you sit too long and text message reminders—can help people with type 2 diabetes sit less during work hours. 46 adults with type 2 diabetes who had desk jobs took part. The goal was to see if these simple tools could reduce sitting time and improve health measures like fatigue and heart risk.
