Summary

This study tests whether using opioid-free anesthesia during mastectomy can reduce chronic pain one year after surgery. 230 breast cancer patients will be randomly assigned to receive either opioid-free or standard opioid-based anesthesia. Researchers will also look at how psychological factors affect pain outcomes.
