Summary

This study tests whether giving ozone gas through the rectum can help protect the brain in children who have suffered a brain injury from events like trauma, infection, or lack of oxygen. About 120 children from 1 month to 18 years old will receive the treatment while in intensive care. The goal is to see if it reduces muscle stiffness and brain inflammation, and improves quality of life.
