First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study compares two doses (100 mg vs 200 mg) of rectal indomethacin to prevent pancreatitis after ERCP, a procedure to treat bile duct problems. About 1,036 high-risk adults will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard or a higher dose right after the procedure. The goal is to see if the higher dose reduces the number and severity of pancreatitis cases.
