First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested whether a short power-nap (under 30 minutes) can help sleep-deprived anesthesiology residents perform better. 44 doctors in training took part in high-fidelity simulations after night shifts. Researchers measured their technical and non-technical skills, as well as stress levels, to see if napping makes a difference.
