NCT ID NCT07397936

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested two different eye drop treatments for people with dry eye disease who were having cataract surgery. One group used a single medication (rebamipide), while the other used a combination of two medications (diquafosol and cyclosporine). The goal was to see which approach better kept the eyes moist and comfortable before and after surgery. Fifty-five adults participated, using the drops for one month before surgery and three months after, with regular eye exams to measure tear stability, symptoms, and safety.
