First seen Aug 10, 2026 · Last updated Aug 11, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This trial compares two phacoemulsification systems used in cataract surgery to see which removes the cataract more efficiently and leads to better early recovery. Each participant will have one eye treated with the UNITY VCS system and the other with the Centurion system, allowing a direct comparison within the same person. The study measures ultrasound energy used, surgery time, and visual outcomes at day 1 and day 7 after surgery.
