First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests whether starting four approved kidney medicines within 8 weeks is safe and works better than the usual slow approach for people with type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease. About 64 adults will be randomly assigned to either the rapid start or standard care, and followed for 6 months. The goal is to see if this method helps protect kidney function and reduce urine protein without causing dangerous side effects like high potassium.
