Precision radiation zaps brain tumors, aims to spare memory

Summary
This study is testing a highly focused, single-dose radiation treatment for people with melanoma that has spread to more than three spots in the brain. The main goals are to see if this treatment can control the brain tumors and, importantly, if it causes less memory and thinking problems than traditional whole-brain radiation. Researchers will follow 49 participants for a year to measure tumor control, survival, and changes in cognitive function.
