First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study followed 76 children with brain tumors to learn how radiation therapy affects their quality of life, thinking, and body functions over time. Researchers collected blood, urine, and MRI scans before and after treatment, along with tests of memory, behavior, vision, and hearing. The goal was to better understand the side effects of radiation, not to test a new treatment.
