Summary
This study looked at why people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) often miss out on cholesterol checks and treatments that can prevent heart attacks and strokes. Researchers worked with 101 patients aged 40-75 to identify barriers and develop a support program including education and coaching. The goal was to make it easier for RA patients to get their cholesterol tested and, if needed, start medication to lower it.
