Engineered immune cells injected into the brain to fight childhood cancers
NCT ID NCT05768880
First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests a new treatment for children and young adults with certain aggressive brain tumors, including DIPG and DMG. The therapy uses the patient's own immune cells, modified in a lab to target four different markers on tumor cells, and delivers them directly into the fluid-filled spaces of the brain. The main goals are to see if the treatment is safe and to find the best dose.
