First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tests whether a breathing technique called Pursed Lip Breathing can reduce anxiety and improve heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels in people with COPD after they have a bronchoscopy. About 64 adults with COPD will be randomly assigned to either receive this breathing exercise from a nurse or standard care. The goal is to see if this simple, drug-free method helps patients recover more comfortably.
