First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looked at whether offering PTSD therapy several times a week (massed) helps veterans complete their treatment compared to the usual once-a-week schedule. Thirty veterans with PTSD took part, and researchers measured how many finished therapy, how satisfied they were, and changes in PTSD symptoms. The goal was to see if a faster-paced approach is acceptable and works better for keeping veterans engaged.
