Which therapy works best for troubled teens? new study aims to find out
NCT ID NCT07259109
First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study will follow 192 teenagers aged 12 to 20 who are already receiving either Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Brief Strategic Therapy (BST) for conditions like anxiety, depression, or OCD. Researchers will track their progress using questionnaires and interviews over 9 months to see which therapy leads to better emotional health and quality of life. The goal is to learn which approach works best and why, without assigning treatments—just observing what happens in real-world care.
