First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at how psychological factors like stress may contribute to physical symptoms in people with jaw joint and muscle pain (TMD). Researchers will compare 300 adults with and without TMD to measure the burden of psychosomatic symptoms. The goal is to better understand the role of mental health in this condition, not to test a new treatment.
