Jaw pain study tests if physical therapists can replace surgeon consultations
NCT ID NCT07560917
First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether a specially trained physical therapist can correctly diagnose jaw disorders, just like a surgeon does. The goal is to help patients get faster care and reduce long wait times for surgeon visits. About 70 people with jaw pain or problems will be checked by both a therapist and a surgeon to see if their diagnoses match.
