First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding psychodramatic role-playing to standard childbirth classes could reduce postpartum depression and improve self-confidence and social support in first-time mothers. 57 pregnant women participated, with one group taking regular classes and the other adding role-play exercises. The results showed no meaningful difference between the groups on any of the measures.
