Could psoriasis drugs also protect your heart?
NCT ID NCT07169682
Summary
This study aimed to see if newer psoriasis medications (IL17 or IL23 inhibitors) improve markers of artery stiffness and heart health over one year. It observed 66 patients with moderate-to-severe psoriasis who were already starting these treatments. The main goal was to measure changes in artery stiffness, comparing results to patients on older treatments, to understand potential heart benefits.
