New model uses PET scans to predict prostate cancer treatment success

NCT ID NCT07428642

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looked at 168 men with metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer to see if a model using PSMA-PET scans and routine medical information could predict how well they would respond to standard first-line treatment. The goal was to help doctors better understand which patients are likely to have a deep response, defined as a very low PSA level. No extra tests were needed; all data came from regular care.
