Summary

This small study tested whether psilocybin, the active ingredient in magic mushrooms, could safely help people with chronic phantom limb pain after an amputation. Ten adults received either psilocybin or a placebo in a supportive setting. The goal was to see if it reduces pain intensity and improves mood.
