First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study compares two injections—botulinum toxin (Botox) and local anesthetic—to see which better relieves pain from neuromas (painful nerve endings) after limb trauma or amputation. About 100 adults with moderate to severe pain will receive one injection and be followed for 8 weeks. The goal is to find a longer-lasting, safer pain relief option.
