Summary
This early study tests whether a single dose of psilocybin (the active ingredient in magic mushrooms) combined with intensive talk therapy can help people with chronic PTSD. Fifteen adults with moderate to severe symptoms will participate, and they must stop other psychiatric medications during the study. The goal is to see if this approach is safe, tolerable, and reduces PTSD symptoms.
