Proton therapy may spare cancer patients from bowel troubles

Summary

This study compares two types of radiation therapy—proton therapy and standard IMRT—given after surgery for endometrial or cervical cancer. The goal is to see if proton therapy causes fewer bowel side effects. About 120 participants will fill out quality-of-life questionnaires to track their symptoms.
