First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study looks at 100 people with stage II or III breast cancer who are already getting radiation. It compares proton beam radiation to standard X-ray radiation to see which one causes less damage to the heart and lungs. The goal is to learn which type of radiation is safer, not to test a new treatment.
