Surgical stitch size tested for faster recovery of bladder control after prostate cancer surgery

NCT ID NCT07226687

Summary

This study aimed to see if using smaller or larger stitches when reconnecting the bladder after robotic prostate cancer surgery helps men regain bladder control faster. It planned to compare how many protective pads men needed daily six months after surgery using the two different stitching techniques. The trial was withdrawn by the researchers before any participants were enrolled.
