Second strike: metformin-boosted radiation targets returning prostate cancer

Summary
This study is for men whose prostate cancer has returned in the same area after previous radiation and surgery. It tests a precise, high-dose radiation treatment (SBRT) combined with the diabetes drug metformin to see if it can control the cancer longer. About 44 participants will receive one of three radiation dose levels, and researchers will monitor PSA levels for up to 5 years to measure success and side effects.
