Second shot at radiation: testing a new combo for tough prostate cancer cases

Summary
This study is testing a new approach for men whose prostate cancer has returned in the same area after previous radiation treatment. It combines a very precise, high-dose second round of radiation with the drug metformin, which may help make the cancer cells more sensitive to the treatment. The main goals are to find the safest and most effective dose and to see if this combination can control the cancer's return for a longer period.
