First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a higher radiation dose directly to prostate tumors can reduce the chance of cancer spreading or returning. About 1,016 men with high-risk prostate cancer will be randomly assigned to receive either standard radiotherapy or standard radiotherapy plus a focal boost. The goal is to improve long-term outcomes without increasing side effects.
