Shorter prostate cancer treatment put to the test

Summary
This study is testing if an ultra-short course of radiation is as safe and effective as a moderately short course for treating localized prostate cancer. It will involve about 205 men and combines internal radiation (brachytherapy) with external beam radiation. The main goal is to see if the shorter treatment causes similar side effects while still controlling the cancer.
