NCT ID NCT07645391

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study is looking for better ways to detect prostate cancer early in men who have a high genetic risk. Researchers will test urine samples and PSA levels in 200 men aged 35-70 with certain gene mutations. The goal is to see if these tests can predict aggressive prostate cancer more accurately than current methods.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to

If successful, this could lead to a more accurate, non-invasive way to detect prostate cancer early in men with high genetic risk.

What could go wrong

This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. It may not find a reliable biomarker, and results may not apply to all high-risk men.
