First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026

Summary

This study tests Prosman™, a supplement made from plum extract, in 38 men aged 40-60 with mild to moderate prostate enlargement symptoms. Researchers will measure changes in urinary symptoms, hormone levels, and quality of life to see if the supplement offers a safer alternative to standard BPH drugs.

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
Prosman™ (Prunus domestica extract, a plant-based supplement)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a natural alternative for men with BPH symptoms, potentially with fewer side effects than current medications.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 38 participants, so results may not apply widely. The supplement may prove no better than a placebo.
