NCT ID NCT07099482
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests a new way to treat diabetic foot ulcers, which are slow-healing wounds common in people with diabetes. Researchers will use ultrasound to help deliver propolis, a natural bee product with anti-inflammatory properties, into the skin. About 80 adults with diabetes and a foot ulcer will be randomly assigned to receive either this propolis ultrasound therapy or standard wound care. The goal is to see if the treatment reduces wound size and improves healing over 4 weeks.
