Summary

This study tests whether a tailored mindfulness program can help high-achieving Black, Latinx, and Asian American students manage the hidden health costs of resilience. 504 students from 18 schools will be randomly assigned to either the mindfulness program or a study skills group. Researchers will track changes in stress hormones, blood pressure, and mental health symptoms over 12 months.
