First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether brief mindfulness and identity-affirming exercises can improve well-being and reduce mental health symptoms in LGBTQ youth aged 16-26 who are currently or recently unhoused. Two hundred participants will be randomly assigned to either the mindfulness program or a neutral control activity, both delivered via a mobile app. The goal is to see if the program is feasible, acceptable, and helpful for this group.
