First seen Jan 22, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests two mouthwashes—one with good bacteria (probiotics) and one with a special ingredient (ethyl lauroyl arginate)—to see which better reduces cavity-causing germs, plaque, and acidity in the mouths of 66 Egyptian children aged 6-12. Participants will use the mouthwash for 28 days, and researchers will measure changes in bacteria levels and plaque buildup. The goal is to find a simple way to improve kids' dental health.
