First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests whether a new EEG neurofeedback system called Prism can reduce PTSD symptoms in 250 US military veterans and civilians. Participants will do two one-hour training sessions per week for 8 weeks, plus two booster sessions. Researchers will compare real Prism training to a sham version to see if it truly helps lower PTSD severity.
