Summary
This early study tests the safety and function of a brain implant that lets people with severe paralysis control external devices using their thoughts. The implant is placed in the brain by a robot and connects to tiny threads that read brain signals. Up to 15 adults with quadriplegia from spinal cord injury or ALS will take part.
