New video tool aims to stop PTSD and drug use in injured teens

Summary

This study is testing short videos to help teens and their parents cope after a traumatic injury. The goal is to prevent posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and substance use. About 92 teens aged 12-17 and their parents will take part. They will watch the videos and complete surveys over three months to see if the approach is helpful and practical.
