NCT ID NCT07481097
First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests a new way to guide fluid treatment in patients with septic shock (a severe infection causing low blood pressure). The goal is to see if using a non-invasive arm cuff to measure blood flow pressure can reduce the risk of acute kidney injury compared to standard care. About 100 adults in the ICU who are on a breathing machine will take part. The approach aims to improve how doctors manage fluids to protect the kidneys.
