Vitamin e gel could stop Dupuytren's before fingers curl
NCT ID NCT06321991
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests if a vitamin E treatment can shrink early-stage Dupuytren's nodules (painless lumps in the palm) and prevent them from turning into disabling finger contractures. About 80 adults with stage 0 Dupuytren's will receive either vitamin E or a placebo, and doctors will use ultrasound to measure nodule size changes. The goal is to find a safe, non-invasive way to stop the disease from progressing.
