Can better staff-parent bonds in the NICU boost preterm babies' long-term growth?

NCT ID NCT07306000

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This pilot study looks at whether training NICU staff to work closely with parents can improve the care environment and long-term development of very preterm infants. About 100 babies born before 32 weeks or weighing under 1500 grams will take part. Researchers will measure things like noise levels, parent presence, and infant sleep to see if the program makes a difference.
