First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests a device that concentrates a mother's own milk to help preterm babies grow. About 310 infants born at 32-34 weeks will either get concentrated milk or standard fortified milk. The goal is to see if the concentrated milk works as well for growth and mineral levels, while being safer and cheaper.
