NCT ID NCT07236957

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at 100 preterm babies who were small for their gestational age and needed IV nutrition. Researchers compared two ways to calculate their nutritional needs: using the baby's actual birth weight versus using a corrected weight (the weight they would be at the 10th percentile). The goal was to see which method led to better weight gain during IV feeding.
