First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a new program called PEAR that helps parents and teachers work together to manage ADHD and disruptive behavior in preschool children aged 2-5. The program adds extra support to a proven behavior tool called the Daily Report Card. Researchers want to see if PEAR improves how often families and teachers use behavior strategies. The study involves 48 parents and teachers and will also help plan a larger future trial.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could give teachers and parents a simple tool to better manage challenging behaviors in preschool children with ADHD symptoms.
What could go wrong
This is a very small, early-stage study (48 people) testing a behavioral program, not a drug. It may not show clear benefits or work for all families.
