Summary
This study is for people with advanced breast cancer (T3 or T4) who have responded well to chemotherapy. Usually, after mastectomy, patients wait for radiation and then have delayed reconstruction. Here, doctors give radiation before surgery, so reconstruction can happen immediately using the patient's own tissue. The goal is to see if this approach is safe and has fewer wound problems than the standard method.
