This study looked at whether the ratio of index to ring finger length (2D:4D) — a marker of prenatal hormone exposure — differs between young adults with and without joint hypermobility. Researchers measured finger lengths and joint flexibility in 180 people aged 18-35. The goal was to better understand hormonal influences on joint health, not to test a treatment.
